I received an email yesterday that Xobni released a new free app called Smartr.
To say I did jumping jacks kind of sets the stage.
It was the one and only app I would search the iTunes store for consistently to discover if they would give me Xobni, which is Inbox spelled backwards, on my iPad and iPhone and in the Mac World.
Matter of fact, it was the one holdout on why I did not want to give up Outlook and move over to checking email on gmail at my desk. Yes, I tried Rapportive but Xobni gets my vote.
Well let me quit the somersaults and jumping jacks and explain what a cool tool this new SMartr app is for your Real Estate Business.
I have all my contacts on gmail. I am a beta tester for the Top Producer 8i Mobile Version so they neatly coordinated all this as of last week. I was going to wait to test the upcoming Outlook 8i integration instead of the gmail integration but something made me reconsider. Anyway, for the past week I have been learning how to check email online, add contacts and email to gmail and PRESTO watch it all sync with the new upcoming 8i gmail integration release. The whole process has gone off without a single solitary hitch. I will lead the round of applause big time for TP and Mobile 8i.
Where Smartr comes in goes like this. Smartr is a free FUN app that lets you bring in all your gmail, outlook, twitter, facebook and linked in contacts with a few buttons and set up changes. Large databases work. There are three tabs once you get past the scrolling photos of favorite peeps. One tab pulls every phone and every email from every source above, another tab shows all the emails between you and the contact listed below with a chart of the history of interaction. All joint contacts with this contact with this same wealth of info are also listed in a third tab.
Tether free from your desk and able to grab contacts instantly works for me. This solves the dilemma of not having ALL your contacts accessible everywhere. I now have Outlook, GMail, Top Producer,Twitter, Facebook, Linked In folks anytime and anywhere for a quick email or call. Top Producer Mobile 8i remains my workhorse power tool database, but this as an add on via iTunes is allllll right !!
So I can maintain my database with action items and appointments coordinated on 8i just like I want to do. It is my work game plan. But if I need to send a few Blogger pals an email this Morn to remind them of a 6pm screensharing Google Hangout test tonight, this email for contacts that are not entered yet in my database is a snap, crackle, pop. Hop aboard and down load Smartr for free for a cracking good contact add Realtor add on to your main stay Realtor Database. P. S.
