And take your iPAD. There is an Open House sign in sheet application that is well received. I also like to pull up MLS Live to answer any questions the Guests may have. Or stats are easy to access with the iPAD. I have just ordered some new Open Hose Signs so off I will go to an Open House or two this Summer!
Tip for New agents. Five things you should have with you at your Open house ;
This is a great time of year to have an Open House. There are many unrepresented buyers who go to Open houses on weekends. Here is a list of five things you should have with you.
1.Plenty of business cards. Sometimes we forget to take them with us.
2.Have a sign- in sheet. Some consumers may not want to sign,I always tell them that sellers require that all those who attend should sugn in and I promise not to call them unless they would like me to call.
3. Consumer Notice. This is a form we use in Pa. It explains different forms of agency relationship.
4.Plenty of brochures of the house with detailed information and pictures. They attend many open houses so they should be able to remember the house.
5.Information about other listings in the community. I do not give it to them but have it with me and mention all the listings.and the price. I offer to mail a copy or email it later. Some people give me their email adresses if they are interested.
