Easy Screensharing Tips via Google Hangout to Use with Clients or Bloggers or Buds , Family and Pals a la Realtor Style!
First step is make sure you have your Gmail password and can access GMail. There are two drop down tabs at the top of your Gmail account that allow you to easily access Google Plus. Or go directly there at plus.google.com. I better recheck that url because it has been easiest for me to access via Gmail.com lately since I am beta testing the new 8i mobile integration with Gmail.
Anyway, with codes in hand, use the drop downs to get in Google Plus. Set up this account so your friends and family and Active Rain Blogger buds and pals and whomever are in the correct circles.
Hit the button on the bottom right to start a hangout. Then type in the person's name you want to screen share with on you tube, docs, and live video.
I have been testing Skype, Meeting Burner, Join.me etc. Fernando Herboso mentioned this product so he, Cindy Edwards and I all got aboard last night and watched Fernando's awesome short sale videos and his PowerPoint Seller updates. I went to class and a productive business meeeting and never left the Beach.
Riley Rover did not have to spend the day alone either. One tip I learned was to press a button like you tube then press again to end that session.
I still have not figured out how to get the sound to work on my laptop through the speakers but I will google it and figure it out.
What I liked best so far was that there was no need to set up. If someone is in your circle, presto, you can be on the go in a meeting right then and there.
I also liked that I could see videos of all three of us plus show YouTube in addition to Docs.
Free, easy, video views, doc views, YouTube sharing of business tools...go ahead and give this product a spin.
Then grin along with us because it is a Screensharing Win.
P.S. The only calamity was Cindy Edwards was cooking Salmom for dinner and I did not get my plate, too. Boo Hoo.
