EEEGads that iPAD is BAD! I had to do it. I had to go back to Best Buy AGAIN and then walk in to the Annapolis Apple Store for the first time to experiment on the iPAD more. There is a traffic jam in the Apple Store but talk about having more iPADS for experimentation. There is a whole room full of them and lots of geeks to translate the speak. They even offer free classes if you are interested in attending them before or after the purchase. .Or check out iPAD tutorials on line. Or download the iPAD for Dummies book on your Kindle.
One of my main learning curves is that it all seems to work well but that the iPAD is a copilot to a laptop...just not the replacement. The new software may allow wireless print in November but how can you use the real estate contracts software which needs flash to even use Docusign? EMail signatures may be legal in Maryland but just not the norm yet. This is the huge snafu. For real estate and fun on the run, it looks like I will have my Kindle books and itunes PLUS social networking, email, internet, RE/MAX classes, gotomeeting.com and Powerpoint Presentation capabilities. I am calling Top Producer to double check but I pulled up 8i in Best Buy.
The neat thing I discovered is that the iPAD will be able to wirelessly synch photos and music to an apple tv for $100. It becomes a remote control. It's ok to drool when technology is this cool! EEEGads that iPAD is BAD! But with limited contract capapbility due to no flash, Realtors still need their laptops but can bop over to the iPAD to show off awesome MLS info on MRIS in the DC area while showing homes. It's super lightweight and instantly on which overcome laptop encumbrances. EEEGads that iPAD is BAD as in it is VERY good!
