Elvis Presley and Real Estate? Okay, what does Elvis Presley have to do with Real Estate?
I love to read, and as you know from my Kindle Tales and Calvert County Library posts, and Nook mentions and Barnes and Noble expeditions, I like books of all kinds and all shapes and all subjects coming at me rapidly. Something in a book about Elvis Presley always stuck with me. It mentioned that if he had just taken the things he did for fun, and also turned them into money making ventures, what a difference it would have made. I like to ponder this now and then when I start a new project or go off on a new tangent and make sure that my fun is aligned with a way to incorporate it into my business. For instance, I scanned my family recipe file for posterity and used it as closing gifts for customers and friends. I also scanned my relative's photo collections and posted them on private Facebook Groups as a way to network. I need to clean out my Garage, so I am going to scan my old files and post them on Relay to show the NEW way of Document sharing and communication. I don't always convert the fun into business, but I try to give it a thought when I'm going to do something anyway. You never know, when you have fun at work then work becomes fun.
