Golden Retriever Rescue of Southern Maryland is a volunteer, non profit organization in Southern Maryland whose goal is to rescue Goldens. Golden Retriever Rescue of Southern Maryland is a great choice when you want to bypass the puppy years or when a puppy is not available at the right time. My Golden Pups have always been farm raised by Alison Beavan in Chaptico in St. Mary's County. I currently have a special needs Golden who is rapidy becoming a great boy. His specialty is riding sidekick to Starbucks or Panera in the afternoon! But this organization has always intrigued me and is another great place to find a Golden Pup. They receive goldens from owners who can no longer care for them or also from the Tri County Shelter. They service Charles, St. Mary's and Calvert Counties. Volunteers are welcome!
