How can one Realtor grenade this much computer stuff? I think I defied gravity this week. They say you are only given as much as you can handle. It occurs to me that it must be determined that I can handle a lot when it comes to a complete technology meltdown.
I needed to write contracts this week. Not one but two of my main workhorse laptops would not print. Completely out of the blue mind you. My spare travel laptop croaked a couple of weeks ago and was pushing two years old so I have decided to get either the ipad or another one shortly because I cannot keep hijacking my clients laptops to do their paperwork .
But if that is not enough my antique laptop would not work at the office. How is that possible? So, go figure, somewhere between hijacking and emailing and running here and there I got the offers typed and submitted but this is one Southen Maryland Realtor who defied gravity this week to get it all done. When I finally pulled out an old, old, old XP at home, and dusted off the cobwebs, I got it hooked up and then what happened? It started to print and THEN the printer ran out of ink. Like I said, it was definitely determined that I can handle a whole lot of technology challenges.
Meanwhile, I have to get the bugs out this week on the print problem. I think an Adobe upgrade threw me in a tailspin. But when it is me versus technology this week, my decision was that I would win. I would not give in to defeat. Those Southern Maryland Real estate offers are submitted each and every one! This Gal was determined to get the job done! Me versus machines...I won!
