I got a NEW ( Realtor) JOB but I did not sign up for one!
You can fill in the parenthesis with lots of professions.
It is something I think of and say a lot.
If my friends have noticed I am a bit quiet these days, this is the real deal.
But I had not thought through how across the board this goes for ALL professions.
Believe me, your friends will give you a mouthful when this subject comes up.
I needed a new database when I switched to an iPhone. It simply did not work.
I needed a new Technology driven Paperwork System. The choices exploded and the methods improved.
I needed a new Accounting system because that streamlined, too.
It all changed. It boiled down to I got a new job even though I did not sign up for one.
But the end of the story is a Good Ending. If the truth be known, I like the way Quicbooks is more universally used so that when I have a question, there are lots of helping hands. I like the Service at Top Producer 8i. I like Evernote as an addition to paperless and cloud computing systems. I like my whole NEW Lineup of Southern Maryland Realtor Marketing Tools. I use MobileRealEstateId and RealBird and HDHat and Active Rain Blogs and Social Networking Tools and RBIntel Market Stats and I better stop now before the ink runs dry!
I did not sign up for this NEW job that is the OLD job but with all these new systems and tools in place. But come to think of it, now that the bulk of the learning curve has been tackled, it is a heck of a good new Job I landed.
