I read the best book in almost a decade...I have not enjoyed a book this much since "Bridges of Madison County." That feels like a decade ago. My sister in law casually mentioned she had just finished this book and had really enjoyed it. Now you have to ask why a book with a picture of a Golden Retriever on the front jacket that had been on the Best Seller list for eons had not caught my eye before this. Who knows? My nose is usually stuck in Dummies Books on how to do this or that. It had not occured to me to read something non fiction. It has to be off the charts to even get me to start a Fiction book. Then it has to be super to get me to continue or I will detour back to a Dummies book or a Biography of some sort.
"The Art of Racing in the Rain" is delightful. Give yourself a treat and give it a read. It is just plain SPECIAL.
