Okay, fasten your seat belts. My Dad wants an iPAD.
Yep, after the sales meeting, after the two Home Inspections, after the Cottons's Septic and the Central Air appointments, I will be right at the Prince Frederick MD Verizon store AGAIN because my Dad wants an iPAD.
When you see me write about this product or that gizmo, there is a chip off the old block phenomena in the works. I do not steal it. My Dad as a Home and Garage Builder has always been into the newest and latest gadgetry and tech tools. BLUSH, now you know where this stuff GUSHES from when this Southern Maryland Realtor rattles on about tools and gadgets or the latest gotta have it tech toy.
Anyway, he has a dilemma. Florida beckons. The Garage Business is up and rolling. My Dad needs phone calls under the Palm trees and secretary free.
He took me to dinner last week. I had been writing my iPAD Realtor Adventure series. I also had been writing about how he has kind of taken over my Recliner in front of all the Football Games. He just kind of ends up in the area right during a Skins Game. Now I prepare crock pots in advance knowing the routine. I am on to him. For kicks, I showed him my pad. He was unusually chipper about it. Kind of asked a lot of questions.
Little did I expect that my Dad, who to this day has never turned on a computer or done Internet or sent an email or shown any interest in computers, to ask me to meet him at Verizon today.

Oh boy, is he going to love this new toy. And am I going to get a kick out of teaching him how to surf the net and get his email sales leads while kicking back under some Palms. Me, I'll be in the snow but I'll be a Realtor with her own iPAD ready to go show and list homes in Southern Maryland!
