It Was a Dark and Stormy Night...an Active Rain Joint Christmas Tale (Tail!)
One of my friends starts her Focus Groups with this Icebreaker Exercize.
It is hilarious. I will start with a sentence or two and then you add a sentence or two And we will rattle along until we have a complete Hilarious Story.
The Focus is an An Active Rain Joint Christmas Tale (Tail?)
I will chime in if we need a creative surge.
I think of Charles Schulz and Snoopy when I start this post. He had a Golden Retriever, too, by the way.
Actually, he mentioned it in one of his last cartoon strips. I was convinced he was speaking directly to me as one of his lifetime readers.
Anyway, here is the beginning of our Active Rain Joint Christmas Tale (Tail). Background?
Commercial ends and Music Begins. Think Peanuts beat. By the way, there is a new Christmas Peanuts app for that. I just had to get the word iPAD in somewhere.
" It was a dark and stormy night. I started to write my Active Rain Post but wondered if Rudolph was near. Anyway, I thought I heard reindeer and Riley Rover started to bark. So I got up to look over the Chesapeake Bay to see hey, what was all the noise about.
Oh my goodness. What did I see?"
When I opened the door, my Golden Retriever, Riley Rover, met Willie the Labradoodle on the Front Porch and fell in love at first sight. They became sweeties and had really funny looking puppies. And Patricia Kennedy will want one of course. But I am getting way ahead of myself.
So here is the mystery...
Why had Patricia Kennedy driven from Washinton, D.C. down to Southern Maryland during the Holidays with Willie the Labradoodle in the first place?
Let me go find Patricia Kennedy and Margaret Rome to kick this up a notch and keep the Active Rain Christmas Tale (Tail!) going.
