It's the simple pleasures that matter in your day....Ramblings of a Southern MD Realtor on the Run! It was fish or cut bait day in Southern Maryland. As in a few days after recovering from my time consuming Spring Computer Crash, my desk was submerged. I have five listings coming aboard and my desk looks like it. So, beautiful a May Day as it was today, I have been perched at my desk wading thru paperwork determined to return my desk to a clean desk policy. Well, that was the plan.

It was one of those beautiful days on the Chesapeake Bay where you can have the sliders open and the fans humming and there is no humidity. No breeze for a big change either. Just a picture perfect day on the Bay. Just me and Riley Rover. Anyway, while I was shoveling out of the mess, the phone rang. My Nephew's back in town from college. He and his gal pal wanted to pop in for no reason and take a walk on the Beach and Boardwalk. Anyway, Riley Rover worships him. It means high speed run when Austin comes over. Anyway, Riley took Austin and Ashley for a run, not walk, and all three of them brought back most of the sand on the beach and a big piece of the sea. As in Riley shook most of it all over me and the clean desk when they returned. But all three looked jubilant. Then they played on my Samsung BlueRay and showed me some new group called Gnarles Barkley on YouTube on the tv. Or something that sounds close to that. Then the phone rang again. My Folks had just picked me up an Ann's Foot Long Hotdog with everything on it and were going to drop one off. The hour wait felt like two hours but does life get better? There went a day of yogurt and salad and fruit smoothies in two seconds flat with absoultely no regrests. Then, Janie sent a really cool email flyer idea using Scribd on Real Bird that fascinated me. So, it has been just a simple day of simple pleasures and one cleaned off but kind of sandy, Chesapeake Bay water stained desk. And one pooped out , content Riley Rover by my feet. Now this day is one that will be hard to beat!
