What’s the Jazz about Jing? Jing makes your Market Reports SING (in the Rain!) I have wanted to do Podcasts for my Southern Market Reports. I tried different products and either they were too complicated or too costly or they went out of Business or you name it, I had a pothole or two in the pathway of learning this. Then my Nephew went to college. My tech guru. Boy, is he going to be floored when he realizes I figured this all out on my own.
What’s the Jazz about Jing? Jing makes your Market Reports a Jamboree ! Yippee! The program is free unless you want to upload to YouTube instead of their Screencast.com program. The cost of $14.95 a year was well worth it to me for this YouTubeCapabilty. Other than a few errors, it was pretty intutitve. I listened to a couple of quick videos and that was it. I had a pair of microphone /earphones for about $25 or less. One learning curve is that there are two plugs. Put your reading glasses on, look at the symbols, and insert in the corresponding hole. That was my biggest mistake. I had to turn the volume up and the volume on. That was another mistake. These are all user errors because Jing is a simple thing to learn. I also forgot to go over to the volume controls and switch to microphone and make sure the sound was on and not muted in the volume controls. Those were my only stumbling blocks. What’s the Jazz about Jing? Jing makes your Market Reports SING (in the Rain!) You can only record for 5 minutes but that works for me perfectly. There is also an unpgraded product by TechSmith called Camtasia that will record your webinars and your Powerpoint Presentations for just under $300. I was kind of taken with Debut for this since it was FREE and simpler. Check out Debut for screen recordings of large webinars. Oddly, you can use GotoMeeting.com for this also as long as you use a second laptop to sign in as a guest to avoid the beeping.
