Laptop Lifespan...Ramblings of a Southern Maryland Realtor... I can kill a laptop at the rate of every year or two with no problem. I am the Queen of Crash without further explanation. I am always on Plan C as in Cheryl. I blow up Plan A, blow past Plan B, and cruise on C as in Cheryl which comes thru for me every time.
Laptop Lifespan...Ramblings of a Southern Maryland Realtor...So when people are amazed at my laptop collection, in lieu of my very cool rag doll collection, is just a survival technique. I know I will have a major battle within two years. So I make a plan to buy one every couple of years. I like to load them up when it's slow like in December or maybe in July. More and more of my programs are going on line so the load process is not as grueling as it once was. This is a nice waying of saying it takes me about a month in between appointments. I see a new Office is on the Horizon and Windows 7 has not made it to Mosquito Gulch yet, so December may be the next big load laptop project. That is, unless the ipad gets in my path and gets my attention big time first. Uh oh. Big uh oh. The benefits of using that in a listing presentation or while showing properties or while on the road have not been lost on this Southern Maryland Realtor on the run. Boy, that ipad sure looks fun.
