Let me start with those Dixie Chicks have some awesome Tech Tool Tips. Not to mention they are Southern Gracious, too!
What's that mean? I was minding my Southern Maryland Beeswax when I saw a Featured Post on Active Rain that included Lina Robertson Jones' Branded (YES, Balloons) Market Share Graphs. I had to have them. I had to know what, when, where, why and how. Next thing I know I contacted her and have befriended Lina and her Mom, Kay Van Kampen, on Active Rain and Facebook and from there it just got better. I looked at Lina Robertson's website and it was a different nationwide vendor for our franchise. I started asking questions. Talk about leads. She has leads that defy gravity. She gave me permission to look at the back end. Mind you, I am half way across the country but I am sure she could hear my Southern Maryland mouth drop.
So then it even got better because these awesome Dixie Chicks got me in a RE/MAX Dixie Tech Hidden Facebook Group sponsored by (the revered I hear ) David Teefy. Ideas have been flying. Somewhere in the mix I checked out a neighboring state to see how Agents were using RE /MAX Reliance Websites in that neck of the woods. I looked through dozens and dozens of sites and sent a complimentary email to Teresa King. She OWNS her Reliance site. It is da bomb. End of story? Not quite. Within minutes of my compliment she had befriended me on Facebook and started an email and phone conversation to exchange ideas. Then I noticed her on the same Facebook Dixie Chick Tips Group. She was actually the person I was idea exchanging with when the power went out for four days in my Southern Maryland Neck of the Woods.
I don 't know how I got this lucky but let me tell you, these Dixie Chicks are Tech Saavy Slick and I am sure grateful they have brought me under their halfway across the country gracious Southern Wings. Thanks to Kay Van Kampen, Lina Robertson Jones, and Teresa King and the initial Active Rain introduction that enabled me to exchange tech and marketing ideas with them across the USA.
