The Funny Thing about my New Mac Book Pro is....
I have dedicated it to be my spare computer for late evenings and weekends. That removes the stress of not knowing how to do something in my business or spending business hours on a learning rather than a doing project.
I will make the decision whether to convert my business in a year or so.
My gut reaction is no. I think I want to keep it this way...i.e. use and know both worlds. I do want to use the Mac for photos and video in the business but right now I cannot figure out the photo finding steps so just rambling along and learning and doing one thing at a time is working well.
I spent the first weekend plus a few days setting up programs and getting Mac Versions of familiar PC Programs installed.
Once I figured out Command C and V and X and A and definitely Z ...well, I was operational.
I also figured there is cool stuff up by that apple icon on the top line. Everything you do on a PC has a counterpart on the MAC. The challenge is just what and where and how long it takes to figure out.
I like the button on the top row that lets you pull up calendars and gadgets. Handy little devil for calendar, clock, time and weather info.
I also just pressed a button by mistake that lets you see all your open screens in one condensed screen saver.
OOps...the font size condensed above and I have no idea how to fix it on a Mac.
This is quite an Adventure.
Wonder what other buttons I will press and discover cool stuff? Gotta Go! Time to explore my Mac! I'll be back.
Here's my Pot Luck Photo of the Day until I figure out Photo Navigation on my New Mac Book Pro! Here you go! Let's call in Life by the Chesapeake Bay! Oh, I just created a Mac Adventures Group if you would like to follow along or toss in tips.
