I attended my first Marriage Blessing Ceremony.
Talk about uplifting!
I had no idea what I was in for on Noon Saturday. Were they going to dance down the aisle or walk down in a a gown and tux or what was going to happen?
It was so very sweet. They said their vows and as they got choked up I got choked up.
I was really glad I was WAY in the back seat.
Seventeen years later they really still LIKED each other.
So much so they did it all over again. Joyously!
Kids and Grankids were everywhere.
There was a great Barbeque that followed.
Afterwards, I took my friend with Ovarian Cancer a big plate of food from the Marriage Blessing Celebration since she was in quarantine after her recent treatment. It was very appreciated.
Hope you are blessed to be invited to a Marriage Blessing, too! In Southern Maryland, it was a great way to celebrate on a sunny perfect May Day!
