My LIFE! By DESIGN...My Earliest Childhood Memories...There are several introspective exercises in the book, LIFE! By DESIGN, but my favorite exercise of the Preview Chapter would be the one to recount your childhood memories. The last two Christmas Holidays, we have scanned all the Heirloom Family Photos that had been stashed away and unveiled for decades. I talked my Mom into bringing them here on a TOP SECRET Mission. We used several of my Fujitsu Scan Snap Scanners and scanned thousands of vintage photos in record time as Christmas Gifts. Then, I went to my Aunts and Uncles homes and had relatives mail me albums to add to the collection. When it was all said and done, it was quite a stash of family photos. These photos have been filtering on to PRIVATE Facebook groups so I have been able to really share the joy of them. The biggest thing, though, have been the fun expressions on peoples faces who come visit. I love it. I completely lose my guests as they watch the slide show of my childhood on my laptops in my work area. They lose all track of time and space as they watch the memories float by. Sometimes the memories are theirs, too, which makes the experience extra special.

My LIFE! By DESIGN...My Earliest Childhood Memories...So the pictures tell the story of my earliest childhood memories. They tell a happy tale. I am a product of a self employed family with a stay at home Mom. We spent our summers at the Beach on the Chesapeake Bay and when I graduated from Va Tech with a Business Degree, the business at hand was go home to my summer home and stay there for good. Which is what I have done. Happily!

My LIFE! By DESIGN...My Earliest Childhood Memories...The photos make you laugh. There is one as a baby lying on a blanket on the grass with a beagle (no, not a Golden Retriever) right on the ground beside me mimicking my pose. My Mom is laughing. The dog thing started that early. Matter of fact, there is a dog in most of the photos of me as a toddler up to four or five. There's Coconut watching us by some snowmen, on the way to a Birthday party, and imitating me. Then there are the German Shepherds in a wagon playing with me and my Brother. Dogs made their debut early in this gal's life. I even found one photo with a Kitten!

My LIFE! By DESIGN...My Earliest Childhood Memories...From that age up there are school photos and cheer leading photos and beach fun photos and lots of summer and laughter and family gatherings and friends. I attended a Speech Class one time and the classmate had to discuss his life with one inanimate object. He used a beer can. I was absorbed by his speech. I brought instead a Scrapbook of Special Childhood Memories.

My LIFE! By DESIGN...My Earliest Childhood Memories...I am grateful for my childhood memories and business foundation. I went to a small school in Severna Park called Severn School. I completely loved it. I had great Grandparents and Parents that are hands down the very, very best.

My LIFE! By DESIGN...My Earliest Childhood Memories...I would say the small business foundation was there from day one. The dog influence really gets you to chuckling as you watch my laptop screen savers. I could not have picked anything I would have wanted more for my childhood. We had summer at the Beach on the Chesapeake Bay and great Beach friends and a really special school called Severn.

My LIFE! By DESIGN...My Earliest Childhood Memories...I would say I have gratitude to my parents and Grandparents who gave me the gift of wonderful childhood memories that gave me the confidence and influence to run my own business . Thanks, Mom and Daddy! I've had the best folks in the world! And some of the influences in your early life stay with you all your life. P.S. The Cotton Candy Stand? Well, that was my first business. My second, well you know that one. You'll Retrieve Golden (originally Beagle) Results with Cheryl Ritchie, RE/MAX 100, for all your Southern Maryland Real Estate Services by the Chesapeake Bay!!!!
