My New Years Healthy Snack Regimen...Healthy Chomping Away while running a Real Estate Business...Well, I am lucky that I like fruit and vegetables. But I decided that when I snack, most of the time, there has to be some kind of healthy component to the choice. So I have been testing out stuff. I choose a lot of sugar free and lite stuff. I make it a mission. So a few of my new chomp choices are strawberries with sugar free chocolate syrup at about 40 calories. Or any fruit with lite cool whip. Or veggies with the new Yogurt dressings. Oh, Rye Tris-quits with fresh salsa or 100 calorie popcorn are also winners. I look like a heath nut when you open my refrigerator or my pantry. It's peanuts, popcorn, and more for treats. Not much in the way of any sweets.
But just to be clear, I am not always perfect. Riley Rover waits by the door for my Starbucks run (cafe late with nonfat milk) because he knows it will mean a drive through the Golden Arches for a dollar sundae. And when those McFlurries look REALLY good, well, Riley Rover will never tell.
