Old Blue sure looks PRETTY today! That's my 1986 Fifth Avenue. Okay, my air conditioning went out in the Jeep. You know, the day it hit 99 degrees in Southern Maryland and I had non stop listing and sales appointments for two days in a row.
Old Blue sure looks PRETTY today! I kept my first real estate car for just this reason. It still runs and well I might add. A lot of my clients even still remember it because they knew me back then. We rode around looking and finding their first homes in Blue. So I am giving Old Blue a treat.
She is getting detailed today. I will have her on the road while the Jeep is in the shop. I took her to two shops in the Spring to find out what a paint job would cost. I was told it was hopeless.
Old Blue has not let me down so I am not letting her down. I am going to give it a whirl. There is a product out the detailer is going to try today that lifts a sparkle out of the lifeless paint. I should take a before and after photo. Even I am curious what will happen after some Purple Power and a few other industrial strength cleaners are set loose on her.
Old Blue isn't going to know what to do after her hair and nail and spa day...HA!
I forgot to mention that after the A/C went out in the Jeep, the door, which had be welded recently, got out of alignment which meant the windows would not open. Yep, I got a ride up Rt 4 with windows that would not open and no A/C. Needless to say, Old Blue sure looks PRETTY today!
This is going to be a makeover that is well deserved for reliable Old Blue. She may be old but she still comes through. Yahoo. She is about to become pretty outside, too.
