Rain Camp...Ramblings of a Southern Maryland Realtor...One of the cool cat treats hard to beat from Rain Camp was that I got to see and momentarily touch an ipad long enough to know that MRIS or the MLS system worked on it. Yippee Skippee. I am reading on blogs how agents across the country are using it in lieu of paper to look up homes while showing them. Also, they are using the ipad to demonstrate powerpoint presentations in a flash rather than wait way too long for a laptop to load up. I jotted down the apps the agent was using and these are my scribbled notes: four square, gowalla, tweetdeck, zillow, mashable, buzzfeed, pandora, viral videos, bing, maps, ibooks, you tube and the rest in undecipherable. Since Verizon does not have the iphone yet, you bet any cool apps I read about are on my radar so these just roosted there, too.

I noticed from being on Active Rain for almost a year that I had heard most of the tech tools and seen the videos and learned the concepts, but there is no substitute for being in the audience and having it all tied together in one neat memorable MEOW. This is not Riley Rover's favorite post I assure you.
