What’s the Poop and Scoop on Panormio.com? I noticed it while I was learning how to do custom maps for my Southern Maryland Market Reports this morning. First of all, there is a Google map integration. That was a Big, LARGER than life, LIGHTBULB moment for me. The other choice when I was learning custom maps was YouTube photos. Not videos, photos. Just photos. Hmmm. I googled how to do that, remained completely clueless, then moved back to learn how to do Panormio photos so that they will upload to and update the few and far between existing Panoramio photos on the towns and neighborhoods that I service in Southern Maryland.

The original “Map This” button did not work on Internet Explorer. The screen became erratic. Then it erased all my title and tags plus I had no mapping ability. You guessed what is next, I could not find a suggestion link. Before I blew up the computer, I found the Forum and posted my S.O.S. Tech Traumas. So, I went back to ground zero, resubmitted the errant, naked photos with no location and no tags, SKIPPED the “Map This” part, and hit the submit button. Then I went back and tried to delete the photos that had lost the titles and tags. Now you know better that to think there was a delete button or an edit button, right? So anyway, I noticed a link for April Contest for five photos and you know how crazy Realtors are for Active Rain Blogging Points, so you know the end of the “Golden Results …in spite of it all” story, right? Yep, I submitted my North Beach MD 20714 new photos. I have four listings there and Panoramio only had two photos of North Beach MD 20714 TOTAL so I think some new “Golden Results” photos for my North Beach MD 20714 service area is a great idea. Now I have to go back to my Custom Google Maps, which started this whole adventure, and see if I see my new Panormio photo updates of North Beach MD 20714 are hanging out on the site. Oh, so when I discovered that the Settings page screen option to have a direct url would not work, after enough tries I realized no caps were allowed. Someone just responded on the Forum and reminded me there can be no Advertising so I needed to erase any advertising which I was able to do when I found the delete and erase key in the Help section.
