Realtor Jump Start Tips for Mac Book Pros Day 2..Fasten Your Seat Belts!
My Main Goal today is to download MAC VERSIONS of programs I use on a PC from Internet.
I reviewed my Rubbermaid Tote of PC Programs and have kept them lean and mean on Parallels.
I brought over Microsoft Office, Norton, my old Agent Office, and Quickbooks.
I downloaded Evernote and Dropbox immediately. Ditto for Firefox and Chrome.
I did not do ANY ADOBE PDF OR PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS OR PREMIERE...that is all going to be Mac stuff.
Outlook is replaced by Mac Mail.
Internet Explorer is replaced by Safari and Firefox.
I understand Snag it is not necessary but going to check this out.
My Heirloom Photos are still on a Screen Saver.
I will have to ask how MAC USERS in DC are updating their Sentrilock keys.
I already know I can do MLS on Safari. Our Contract program, too.
Download FLASH by Adobe asap!
Well, I am off to check out programs on line like Hootsuite, Google Earth, Picasa, Jing, Debut, Aim etc. and see how they all do on the Mac. I'll be back tomorrow. It takes three long days to load a PC so let's see how long this load a NEW Mac project will be!
What Mac Programs do you use that are indispensible and what was your initial learning curve? More tomorrow!
