Realtor Mac Observations Day 3..Here are some random thoughts on Day Three of being a NEW Realtor Mac Owner!
The Data Transfer is just that i.e. data only. So just like a PC, you still have to load all the programs and enter licenses.
The Mac Classes in the Annapolis Apple Store are hosted by under 30 Employees to over 50 Purchasers.
That sounds like the Realtor to Home Buyer Demographics!
The learning curve is just that. It is a learning curve. I have three days intro learning and loading it. But it was harder than I thought. Yes, a few decades ago I owned a Power Mac and it does slowly come back but slowly is the operative word.
I have realized I will learn this and up my skill level on the parts that I think Mac does best. Photos are a big deal. Since I already use an ipad and iphone, data sync is important.
I am going to use the Mac more on my evening time and less during the work hours until I get the hang of it.
I like One and One sessions but flounder in the group Apple Sessions.
It was harder and more to learn than I expected. But good things do involve work.
Those are my random thoughts after a few days on a Mac. I am not going to full scale defect. I am going to give this a year and really learn and take it in. Then, i will decide whether my next purchase is a Mac or PC. We'll see.
By the way, how do you enter photos on a blog post. i am prevented from doing this on my new Mac so far in Firefox. HMMMmmm.
