Southern Maryland Realtor Tips on Upgrading to iOs 5...
Tip one. Just because you are tether FREE from a computer once you get iOS 5 installed does not mean you are now. This means upgrade iTunes first, breathe deeply, then plug your iPad or iPhone in to your computer with iTunes upgraded to date and ready to begin your iOS5 upgrade.
Tip two. Good idea to FIRST right click on the device once you see its name on the left side. Then right click to Transfer any purchases. When this is completed, then right click again to back up. Always, always, always do this backup.
DID I SAY ALWAYS BACK UP BEFORE YOU START THE iOS5 UPGRADE? That is unless you do not mind spending all day resurrecting all your settings and photos and the list goes on. But remember, I Southern Maryland BIG MOUTH Bold Print told you so. It's okay, I already made this GOOF for you. Save the time and Back Up.
Tip three. Now...Do the Big iOS5 upgrade and if you get error 3200 it means the Servers are down and try again later. I encountered this Day one but not since. Later means late at night when everyone is night, night.
