Realtor Video Training after the Laptop Reloads

Realtor Video Training after the Laptop Reloads? You betcha! I have been is a Technology Meltdown the last month. Let is suffice to say that I will be reloading and loading FOUR laptops. I have it down to a science. I posted a TO DO List or Action Plan yesterday. But the real issue becomes once you reload these beasts, they frequently need ALL new programs when you upgrade to a new Operating System like Windows 7.

New programs means new learning curve. The laptop reloads are easier now than previously since there are more Internet solutions and less unique Mom and Pop set up instructions for specialized Realtor tools. But along with the relative ease comes a big training jump start needed.

I like video training. I like to see and hear and then do. Yes, I download a lot of the Dummies books for all kinds of social networking and tech tool instructions on my Kindle or iPAD. But something about watching the Microsoft or Adobe products being used  via Video helps speed up my training.

I am researching LearnKey.com which has always been my main stay for learning the Microsoft suite. But as good as these are, I do not see an online ALL product access subscription that makes their product $$$ viable.

I like Erin Olsen a lot as a trainer. So TotalTraining.com at $25/month is a definite possibility.

But surprisingly. I may start with VTC.com because I think their Outlook 2010 Syllabus is more in depth. They have a Google series and a Word Press series and Excel 2010 is coming down  the warpath. I also noticed Adobe Acrobat 9 on the product list. I like the way they let you view the first three chapters of any product ... not just a few . The Outlook 2010 starts with a Bang and  Ineed to master this yesterday for the Database changes that will be necessitated with the Verizon iphone presence HOPEFULLY first Quarter. So I think I will start there at $30/ month and then move over to Erin Olsen at Total Training when I knock a few products out of the learning park during the Holidays.

I need Publisher 2010 and Acrobat 10 and Quickbooks 11 and the list grows. Let's not forget Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. Boy, there is a lot of new stuff to learn. Maybe I better slow down on these laptop loads and reloads. The Queen of Crash has developed almost an ease with reassembling a detonated Realtor laptop. But the learning curve is what will take real Southern Maryland Realtor nerve to master.

My days of collecting the  Learning DVD's are over. Online training is a win for me because of less set up, less space, all laptop usage anytime and anywhere. And that means more time after wards to spend with Riley Rover.
