What does Saturday in the life of a Realtor resemble? There is no set pattern. It probably looks different for each of us. But it is a different work flow than the weekdays.
Saturday in the Life of a Realtor, or for this Realtor in Southern Maryland, means make roughly a dozen showing appointments soon for this afternoon. Then it's do the preparation for the two listing appointments that follow the dozen home showings. Then it's come back and clear off the desk and clean up the paperwork so there's a clear desk and clean checklist for Monday. This morning was check the emails, blogs, and social networking sites for a quick run down. I learned about sending large files on Windows Live so I signed up to be able to do that. Late, very late , this evening I have a Netflix movie that should be in the mail today just for fun. I selected the "Sololist." Netflix works in conjunction with the NEW Samsung Wireless BluRay DVD Player. This gadget lets you stream Youtube videos in and Pandora Internet Music and even a large quantity of old PBS shows and tv shows/movies. Did I mention I have to set that up also? And I'm plowing thru the book called "Volumetrics" which was $2.00 at the Friends of the Library Book Event in Prince Frederick MD. The event ends today but you can purchase tons of gently used hardbacks for $2.00, paperbacks for $1 and books on tape for $1. The event will be hosted again on a May Saturday and you can bet I will be there.
Somewhere in there I have to eat healthy like "Volumetrics" proposes...stuff that takes up space with low calories. I also have some great listings that will have telephone inquiries and possible offers. Add it all up,,,that's a Saturday in the Life of this Southern Maryland Realtor! Oh, and Riley Rover gets a walk today! That means the Golden Girl gets a walk, too!
