Set up the Goal and Roll Toward it....
Once upon a time, before I was a 25 year Veteran RE/MAX Southern Maryland Realtor, I sold furniture for 10 years at Levitz Furniture in Suitland MD. While there I worked with Ralph. Ralph is still on my Christmas Card mailing list to this day. I believe you carry people with you. Things may change but there's that part of each person that is here to stay. They are with you every day.
Anyway, Ralph every day would have a goal. He wanted something for his TRUCK. Or he wanted something for his home. Or he wanted this or that. These were obtainable goals that meant something to him. So you always knew where he stood. One living room set later, he had a new fender. Or whatever the goal was that day or that week.
So here's mine. There are a few mountains to climb in between, but my Ralphism goal is the NEW Mac Book Pro. One iPhone, one or two IPads and several iPODS later, this Southern Maryland Golden Girl is going to be on a Southern Maryland Spring Sales WHIRL to get that NEW Mac.
