Short and Sweet Posts are still NEAT! This Golden Gal is BEAT. I hosted my Annual Wreath Making Dinner Party yesterday. It is a ten day prep and prepare and then repair the Whole MESS kind of event. That means the day after Thanksgiving for almost TWENTY years I have gone to my friends' FARM to gather holly, magnolia, cedar, hemlock, nandino berries, clippings etc. We chow down on leftovers and then load OLD BLUE. I unload all the outdoor Holiday loot on my front porch. Then every day that coming week I shop, pull down grapevine from the trees for the wreath bases, and clean up. Then I cook and clean. Then I host, clean and collapse. For most of the Wreath Making Dinner Party Day friends and family and coworkers and clients show up for food and wreath making. Today I am nearing the end of the bulk of the clean up. Then it is Zzzzzzzz. Just think, next year is TWENTY! Riley Rover, it's time for a snooze.
