Thanksgiving Holiday Stuff to Do...Everyone is bustling. Either they have travel plans or cooking plans or shopping plans. There is a bustle and a hustle in the late November air. I use the time to go to my friends Farm and gather the cuttings for my Annual Wreath Party that I host the following week. It's my Norman Rockwell time of year ritual. I also usually lay low a little and enjoy a Holiday Feast or two. So what else is there to do this year?
I just had a laptop crash or two. More like two with a third crash that was imminent. Then I broke down and ordered a new laptop. So it has been laptop load and reload time. I actually get my data back on today. YEAH! Then I have the final third of the way to go to get them all up and running again. Then I have to face the paperwork pile which is sky high and get it all back in order. It got backlogged when the laptops went belly up. The table absolutley has to be cleared off before the Wreath Party next week. So, rats, I have to get a bunch of not fun stuff done this Holiday Weekend, too.
Maybe I will intersperse a few hours to read some more of "Decision Points" or pop in Starbucks or Panera or take a walk on the beach with Riley Rover. Paperwork and projects are not much fun, but this time they have to get done so this Southern Maryland Realtor can get back on the Run when the Holiday is over. It is time like this when I wish I could do a "BeWitched" and the whole table would mysteriously be cleared off and all laptops up and running smoothly again. Maybe I will wiggle my nose and see if anything happens. Or then again, maybe I will just get up early a bunch of days and nosedive in until there is a Paperwork and Project Progress win.
Or maybe I will just take a nap with Riley Rover and then get it all zapped back in shape later. After all there are RUBBERMAID totes available in the closet to house it all! Chuckle!
