One Golden Retriever plus one Girl who loves to walk means the announcment that The Chesapeake Beach Railway Walking Trail is Underway is a big deal in this small Southern Maryland town to this Southern Maryland Realtor. One of my favorite things to do in the town of Chesapeake Beach is to take a walk on the Town Boardwalk. Riley Rover would second that motion for sure. I love the views and smells and sounds of the Chesapeake Bay.
But this will be really neat. It will connect some of the communities to the center of the town along the old Railway Trails. I cannot quite picture it but I will be one of the first residents to give it a try. The scenery where I envision that it will be is breathtaking. It will be just over a mile. It has been a two decade labor of love project by the current Mayor of Chesapeake Beach.
