The Golden Girl's TV Viewing Habits are about to precipitously drop on Wed May 25. As in permanently change for this Southern Maryland Realtor.
I have mostly watched two recorded shows late at night for longer than I can remember.
Larry King went out first. Big change.
I would also watch an incredible Blockbuster movie now and then. Biography could hold my attention a while. And awards shows or big news events cold hold my attention. That is about it. I cannot sit still for much more than that.
Well...She's a Billionaire. She's got something to say. And I have listened.
Some of my best tech toys I have seen there first.
The Kindle. The iPAD. The Nikon D3100. The Flip.
I knew she was as nuts a rooni about her iPAD as me.
And her Goldens. And Sadie her Cocker Spaniel.
And her Books.
She championed good health and living your best life.
I will truly miss her.
She has been enlightening, empowering, and entertaining.
She has been one of a kind.
Thank you, Oprah, I feel like I've known ya!
As Kids we used to turn off the TV Memorial Day Weekend for the entire Summer.
The goal was to LIVE the Summer.
Come Wednesday it just got really, really easy to get in the Summer Groove by the Chesapeake Bay.
Cheers Oprah. I'll say goodbye with a few tears or two but I know the new Network will be dear for us, too.
Four Paws up from Riley Rover and Five CHEERS from this Southern Maryland Golden Girl!
