The iPAD is "BAD" as is good. I was in Best Buy again yesterday afternoon after writing an offer on a home in Annapolis MD. Leslie Ebersole already knows this because I commented a few times on her post to see if Active Rain worked. My travel laptop hard drive crashed so the decision is what to do...replace my traval laptop first with another laptop or with an iPAD after the new upgrades come out in November. I cannot hijack my Client's laptop and printer every time I need to do paperwork.
I noticed that Docusign has an iphone application. My contracts program is flash so I have to ask Doscusign if their program will be able to work on the iPAD with this issue when the iPAD does not support flash.
I tested MLS and it worked so viewing comps and Google Earth and History and printouts is all a go. The social media sites are covered. I became unclear on if gotomeeting.com worked. I need to hit the classes on RE/MAX University and forgot to test remax.net. I never got to fully test Top Producer 8i. They said I could see my emails even without Outlook.
You get lots of help at the Best Buy Apple table from the sales staff and kids and adults, too, so it was really cool testing the iPAD again. It is a little heavier than you think but the FLASH instant on feature works as you show homes or slip by Panera or Starbucks for beverages and a quick break.
I upgraded to the mifi for free on line so I guess I am moving this direction know it or not. I liked the way the iPOD touch did video and photos and live video face to face chat. I met a neat Geek who uses a router under $100 instead of mi fi so he can use Skype.
I think I want the iPAD first but need the laptop first for contracts on the road. But the new November release has a print capability via wireless. Sounds like I will be up at Best Buy again. The iPAD is "BAD" as in GOOD!
