Fellow Active Rain Blogger, William Johnson, and I added this photo of Riley Rover from my iPhone Camera and iPAD today. We worked together to figure out the steps to add a photo in a blog post using the iPAD. Then with some guidance from Abe Schmidt at Active Rain, we figured out the following steps after a few harrowing hours and several coast to coast brainstorming sessions. Here is the scoop to keep you in the loop.
1. Make sure photo stream is turned on in your iPhone and iPad so this iCloud technique works.
2. Take photo, wait a few minutes, then go to the FREE Flickr app loaded on your iPad or iPhone.
3. Open the Flickr App. Then choose to Email but stop and copy the URL.
4. Go to Safari and paste this URL in the address bar and click enter.
5. Go to this page. Then select the photo, hit the share button, and copy the HTML Code.
6. Write your Active Rain Blog post and save in Draft.
7. Then click edit and change to HTML format.
8. Paste the HTML Embed Code in the HTML Format Tab of Active Rain.
9. Hit Submit to Publish.
10. Eureka. This took William Johnson and Cheryl Ritchie THREE Coast to Coast Hours of collaboration but it will take you roughly just a few minutes more than a regular post to complete. Now isn't that NEAT!
