We call my Mom "Weather Bureau!"
Let me tell you, it is a well deserved title.
She studies it, inhales it, disseminates it, and immerses herself in the Southern Maryland Weather.
So much so that I never pay much attention to apps or websites or the TV or radio, I just check in with Mom.
And if that is not enough, I have a friend who does the same thing.
I call her Weather Bureau 2. I am quick with a tongue to remind her, when Weather Bureau1 is in Florida over the Winter , that she has a job to do.
And if the first flake falls without a call, I can get good and mouthy about who is asleep on the job. Chuckle.
Oh well, bright and early, Weather Bureau1 has already reported in and Weather Bureau2 is probably standing by the phone.
And if it was any other way, after all these years, I would have quite a bit to say. My two Weather Reports start with " Hi, Honey" and lots of giggles, groans and laughter.
I did browse around and find the cool Accuweather.com site, but SSHhhhhhh, I like things just the way they are. Mind your beeswax please. rINg, rINg!
