What I like about Tech Smith Products so far....well, the three I am using are SnagIt, Jing, and Camtasia. It was not until I started to update my 2010 Southern Maryland Listing Presentaion during all this snow that I realized how many NEW tech products I am using this year. Snagit is best explained this way. There is life before SnagIt and life after SnagIt. I heard about it on a CRS CD. It allows you to copy and paste graphics off intenet seamlessly. So when you have to show graphics for a dozen or two changes in this year's products versus last, SnagIt is smoking.
What I like about Tech Smith Products so far.... is their Service. Camtasia is the step up from their FREE Jing product. I upgraded to the Jing Pro and have it ready to test but am too busy Snagging to Jing right now. But after my NEW and AWESOME Southern Maryland 2010 Listing Powerpoint Presentaion is completed, I am going to use Camtasia to do a video Powerpoint Presentation and upload it password protected on Screencast.com which is also FREE. Camtasia gives you a thirty day free trail for their product. I learned about it to record webinars because I am taking a lot of them lately and cannot return a second time easily at preset hours. Anyway, Camtasia support has been great and that alone is worth visting the TechSmith products.
I need to know one thing, though. Can you use Jing for the five or so minutes to do the quick video talking about the long video availbale on Camtasia and then post the Jing thing on Active Rain? This one stumped me. But when I talk to Bob Stewart about my Featured Post Contest idea, this will be one of my first questions. Does Jing work on Active Rain?
