When you can't find a shower curtain you like, make one...Okay, this is a little off the wall but everyone is entitled to their moments. I cannot find a shower curtain I like. And shopper that I am not, I have decided to just figure out how to make one that fits my style.
I purchased a plain shower curtain. I walked in to Michaels and bought some plain see thru contact paper. I have new towels ready for this project. I do not know the theme yet. It could be beachy like an array of shells and sharks teeth from the Chesapeake Bay. It could be funky like I may pull out all my Golden Retriever and Mary Englebrite 2010 Calenders and use the best photos. Or it could be photos of each of my Goldens. I have not decided. It could be a poem. It could be a few words. I have been stewing on it. One thing for sure, there will be no other shower curtain like it on the planet. One thing for sure, too, is that it may turn out to be one big MESS. But I will probably like it every bit as much as the ones I have seen in the stores. And it will be my BIG MESS to greet me every morning.
