Why do Two Socks go in the Dryer and Only ONE comes out?
Have you ever noticed this law of Physics? Yep, it is a law. Two socks go in the Dryer and only ONE comes out.
Maybe that means they should be packaged as three instead of two.
Or maybe that means I should wear mismatched socks and get over it.
Or maybe I should break down and buy some stuff that disentangles them while bopping around in the dryer.
The thing is that they eventually do surface. The problem is that they surface long after I have given up on finding them and have already given them to Riley Rover to play with. Which means they end up in his toy pile.
Which explains why, underneath the bed, with lots of holes and mixed in with the bones and toys, is a perfect sea of matched socks just waiting for me. That is, of course, if Riley Rover is willing to relinquish them and not charge a storage fee.
