I have been on Apple Tier Two Tech support since the iCloud was unveiled.
It's down to the finish line with just a few glitches like a password problem and a security certificate error message left to figure out.
Tomorrow we test the iCloud again to make sure it all finally works.
I can take a photo on my iPhone and it appears on my gadgets at home as long as the gadget is set to WI Fi.
I can upload docs on my PC and see them instantly on all computers and all gadgets.
I can add a contact and presto it is everywhere with one data entry.
I can press a button and see where all my gadgets are located.
I can check my email in the cloud.
Pretty cool. Okay, drool.
It's down to a security certificate and password error and an iTunes glitch left to fix. One month later I get an A In perserverance.
So, here you go...when you want the Work around steps when your iTunes App Purchases will not Sync via the iCloud you do this.
Plug in the device to the laptop loaded with the iTunes songs and apps.
Let device roll/ i.e. sync on it's own.
Then hit download ALL in the iTunes Store.
Click on the device.
Click APPS.
See list of apps on device. Check missing marks one by one so each app is checkmarked.
Check apply.
Let it rip.
If you have another gadget, the laptop is already synced to the store so you skip that step above.
On the next device, plug it in. Let it roll. Check apps with missing checkmarks again.
Hit apply.
This is the workaround via a cord and patience until the 90 day waiting period is up and the iCloud will totally work.
Somehow when I went from the Mobile Me version to the iCloud version the Store got very unhappy and froze my auto download for new apps feature for 90 days. Anyway, this is the "Golden Results Southern Maryland Realtor Fix!
