The market is up, the market is down, but when you get around to really thinking about it, just like this "song" remembers when, this "home" remembers when. It's more than sticks and bricks and profits and losses and deals. The big deal is that is is your memories. They are preserved there. Just take out old photos and once you look at the foreground enough times, you start to look at the backgrounds, too. These are the backgrounds of our lives.
My Southern Maryland homes in a lifetime had had barns and chicken coups in the backdrops. They have had the Chesapeake Beach and the Rohde River. They have had Brownie's Beach and the North Beach Fire Department. Yep, I can still hear those sirens. But they have memories encapsulated in each of those four walls.
And when we list and sell homes, sometimes it's very important to recognize for each Southern Maryland Seller, that this "home" remembers when.
