The Skinny on the IPAD in Southern Maryland...how it works with MLS and other neat stuff...Okay, I have been on a mission to learn about the IPAD. I read a few blogs on Active Rain about how agents are using it while showing houses to pull up MLS. Then they are pulling up Google maps. Then they are using it to carry around their Kindle Books not to mention their iTunes collection. It is one stop shopping in that you can toss it in your purse and go but this one device provides many services while this yours truly Southern Maryland Realtor is in a perpetual Realtor movement in Calvert and Anne Arundel Counties in Southern Maryland. You can have a compass or financial calculator, too. Even GotoMeeting.com works with the FREE application!
The Skinny on the IPAD in Southern Maryland...how it works with MLS and other neat stuff...I heard thru Rich Iarossi at Rain Camp that another agent seated next to him used one all day in D.C. I have called MRIS , our MLS system in the D.C. area , to see if they knew if it worked. I went twice to Best Buy to figure it out. Then I made it simple and called the Active Rain Blogger, Josette Skilling out of Bethesda, MD , to get the direct scoop and poop. You betcha, the IPAD works great with no glitches on her IPAD. She LOVES it and now I really cannot wait. I was going to switch to an iphone when Verizon brought it aboard but that will not work with Agent Office Contact Management Software. Hopefully the iphone or IPAD will work if and when Top Producer releases an iphone app. So, go IPAD, go. I am waiting for more gigs because of my itunes collection. Christmas is a good, good goal to have an Apple under the tree. And I say that despite the years of HP & PC in me!
