Neeld Estate in Huntingtown MD Residents Need Help from Storm! The storm damage will be on Channel 9 News tonight showing that the Homeowners along the Neeld Estate Beach closer to the Breezy Point Harbor are being deluged with water again. The recent storms have obliterated the beach and all that is keeping the water from coming in several of the homes is the relentless effort of the neighbors to pile thousands of sand bags and hundreds of tires along the front of the homes. Until you see this, you cannot fathom the devastation. I took an old tire down and some old real estate signs to stake them in the sand. I worked for an hour pushing tires from the roadfront to the beachfront. I've tried calling the local fire departments, the Sheriiff's Office, and EMailing a few local politicians I know. If you can help or know anyway to get help for these Neeld Estate, Huntingtown Neighbors, please do so. Thanks!

Owings MD Mount Harmony United Methodist Church Ham and Oyster Dinner Oct 17 2-7PM

Lick your chops for this one! I try to go every year to the Ham and Oyster Supper on Mt. Harmony Road and Rt.2 in Owings MD at the Fellowship Hall. It's Oct 17 this year from 2-7. It's Buffet style and includes an crafts and bake table. Carry outs are available.... call 410 257 2761. The menu includes ham, oysters, green beans, dessert, beverage, potato salad, corn pudding and rolls. Adults are $20 and children ages  7-12 are $8. One of my childhood friends sent this photo the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend which is the unspoken day of jubilation each and every year that another Summer is here. It caused a frenzy among all our childhood Neeld Estate Beach Friends. We could smell the beach come alive in this one photo. Not to mention we could hear the sounds of the Chesapeake Bay and know the boats were leaving the nearby Marina ready for a day on the Bay. And yep, you bet, Facebook was humming with all our comments.

Neeld Estate Homes for Sale  in Huntingtown Maryland  range from older beach cottages to newly remodeled homes. There is a wide gamit of selection. One thing for sure, though, is that frequently you encounter the Grandchildren in the same homes that their Grandparents once owned. The homes are generally passed thru the generations.
