Tech Tools I used TODAY for a Southern Maryland Real Estate Business..which ones? Well ,I needed to call information for a loan company that I heard had 20% down lot loans so I used 800-Goog-411 to find them for free and yes , Prince Georges Federal Savings Bank at 301-627-3504 has 20% down lot loans. Then I needed to find an addendum I needed to revise and who knows where I had stashed it on the laptop so I used Google Desktop to locate it. Then I needed help figuring out how to stop my Outlook from crashing and IE from going too slow and the MAR Tech Helpline which is free tech help for Maryland Realtors was fabulous! While on my Starbucks/Panera run, I mentioned FourSquare to the Panera folks as a way for them to drum up business via Mayor points. I won't just be Mayor, I'll be Madame President for a lifetime. Then, I popped in my Dad's office and showed them the www.mdlandrec.net site for Maryland Land Records, Plats, etc. Oh, and I blogged, tweeted, and facebooked thru the day. Plus, I took a webinar on Docusign which is fantastic for document signatures via email. Then I used the RE/MAX fax to email product to send out some paperwork tonight. Oh, and I signed up for "Go to Meeting" to take another Tour Factory webinar tomorrow! And I just might read a bit on the Kindle tonight...maybe! But the new Netflix Samsung Wireless BluRay Player streams such cool old movies and shows via Internet that I have been fascinated daily. Imagine seeing Elvis and Frank Sinatra on the original show or lots of old PBS Series about Presidents. Or concerts, too! Not to mention the Samsung also broadcasts YOUTUBE videos and Internet radio!
Between it all, Riley Rover stayed by my side to add a doggone good copilot touch while I navigated the daily Realtor techie maize. He stays a few inches away from me at all times so he does not miss a Starbucks or Panera Jeep run!
A year ago, I doubt if I knew of any of these tools or products!
Now ...if I could just figure out how to unclog the dishwasher!

Technology is now involved in every corner of our life. It is to a point that it would be hard to imagine being without it. The good news is the technology tools we use help us to be more effective and more efficient.
