The Realtor versus Iphone Conundrum in Southern Maryland...One of my childhood friends has seen me babble so much about wanting the iphone on Facebook that he sent me an article this morning. Let me say it one more time..BIG TIME. Three times is a charm.
The Realtor versus Iphone Conundrum in Southern Maryland. Okay, neither my current couple of decades held contact manager/ database program nor the high tech competitive product have the iphone or droid capability. But the rumor mill is huge the the competitor, Top Producer 8i, may have it this summer. I keep hearing the maybes. I also kept hearing that Verizon might get the iphone. The Realtor apps alone with Realtor.com plus the 8i possibilty plus the new video capabilty to see RE/MAX classes on the iphone is enough to make me move lickety split from one database to the other. This is a HUGE undertaking but will be well worth it. I was getting ready big time. As in paying to have my data brought over next week. So, it looks like there is a delay. A kink. I will stomp, scream, groan, whine and be a general distraction about this, but I guess I may as well face facts now. I have another 6 months or so to learn the new database. Meanwhile, me, Ms. Tech-aroo, has two Verzion upgrades, sitting and waiting for the iphone hook up. This is unheard of as much as I love technology. No, the Droid does not work with either product and neither do any of the other upgraded products ...i.e. the latest Palm products. Stuck in cement until 8i gets the iphone app rolled out and Verizon gets the iphone. Moan, groan, need an iphone. It even rhymes. They should ship me one when it all gets worked out as much as I rattle on about wanting a Verizon iphone and a Top Producer 8i iphone application to go with it.
