The next thing is a backdrop of the Chesapeake Bay or Patuxent River. Then you notice all the veggie trays. Then the fruit and salads. Then you get down to the Southern Maryland part.
What does a Southern Maryland Memorial Day Weekend Picnic LOOK like...Ramblings of a Southern MD Realtor...Okay, you see macaroni and cheese and homemade chocolate chip cookies and brownies and coolers of water and sodas. There's potato salad and salsa and chips and bean dip. There's hot out of the pot corn on the cob. There's deviled eggs and baked beans. I don't know what the food spreads look like at other tables aroung the country, but this is no time to think diet in this Southern Maryland neck of the woods. Happy Memorial Day Weekend.
