The Computer Crash Queen Rises AGAIN! The hard drive crashed on my travel laptop. Then four, yes four NON networked laptops would not print. Then my work laptop was disconnected from the RE/MAX network since Symantec had not updated properly. So, the laptop death toll was FIVE.
I am coming back from the ashes. I am mailing my crashed laptop to HP to see if any life can be breathed in to it after a mere 18 months of use. I am reconnected to the RE/MAX Network and have that laptop working and printing. I have my cobweb ridden old travel laptop working on an emergency status. I have my three home laptops printing. It was a repair button under the Adobe Acrobat help button that needed to be run. Also, my newly updated Windows 7 laptop needs Adobe 9 or 10 to print hereon. Adobe 8 is a no go. So all but the Windows 7 laptop are alive and kicking. This was laptop emergency room magic in Southern Maryland.
What's scary is that a two or three year old laptop is considered over the hill which means they can crash at will. Right when Verizon is about to launch the ipad next week I am facing these facts... wrapped in cinnamon and nutmeg... as in Apple? This many crash, bam, boom laptops later, I could handle some APPLE pie and a P.C . goodbye.
