Southern Maryland Homes for Sale

I went shopping at....HOME today.

New Years Day...I went shopping at HOME today and hey, it was wonderful to stay and shop the day right here. I needed some office supplies. I needed dirt cheap calenders of Golden Retrievers. Plus, I like a few Mary Englebrite calendars thrown in the mix. I needed to find out where to purchase Keurig Single Cup Coffee K Cups. Guess what, I found them right at Staples.com while ordering my ink. I needed to get plugs for my GPS and Flip video. Amazon had one and Garmin had the other.

Somehow I was headed out the door and then didn't. I started comparison shopping on line. I even looked for sale Golden Retriever Christmas Cards for next year. I shopped til I dropped. But this way, I had Riley Rover snoozing at my side, I got a chance for some chill time, and all the supplies are coming right after the weekend. Now that is my kind of shopping. And the Starbucks stop I missed today? Well, I sampled a few new K Cups for my Keurig Coffee Maker. But I know the Outlets missed me. This way, however, I stayed focused on business supplies. Well. let me go check the Eddie Bauer site just in case because it's never too late.

It seems technology makes it easier and easier to live a life almost completely indoors. Hopefully we don't become like the humans in the movie Wall-E. lol

Cheryl, Good way to start off the year..no waiting in lines, no rude sale people, no trying to find a parking space. This certainly does let your fingers do the walking shopping. Now you have lots of goodies to look forward to.

Glad you were very successful in your online shopping.  It is the best!  did some shopping today too, but I don't think I was as productive as you were!  Best wishes for a great 2011!

I did most of my Christmas shopping on line so unless a store can lure me with a signficant discount I'm going to stick to on-line for lots of life's necessitities too.  Though I did go out and show houses...like it when my clients want to go shopping on the first day of the year :-)

I bought back up jump/travel drives and I purchased next year's Christmas cards from Office Depot online on Thursday....I have the space to store small items like this!

Cheryl ~ I love shopping from home.  And when it arrives, it's like Christmas all over again!  Happy 2011.

Cheryl: I've found that the most affordable coffee for the keurig is to buy in bulk from Costco online. They have about 6 kinds to choose from.

Melissa, I am so glad you pointed this out. I went to Sams Club today to get some K Cups for the Keurig coffee maker. I also found them at Staples. Let me check out Costco next. I hear that Bed, Bath and Beyond has them also...as in use the 20% off discount coupon and get them then.

I went out on the roads to finish the shopping today. Pantry has some cool stuff.
