Panera Posts their Calories in the Prince Frederick Maryland location!
Well, I am in Panara maybe once a day. If the truth be told sometimes twice a day. And I may have to blush and say it can be as much as three times a day. No, not four if you are keeping score.
It is my home away from home while I am doing my Southern Maryland Real estate appointments. They are just plain nice to me. And after paying for one round of tea, they usually let me slide on the next glass that day. Yippee. That means it costs the same as McDonalds but with the nice ambience of Jazz Music and Salad and Smoothies and friendly smiles.
Anyway, for a few months they have posted calories. I had never noticed until today. I am busy getting iced tea anyway. They said some local areas are required by law so they went ahead and posted the calorie count in our locale also.
I really like this. You know what to stay away from and what to head toward. And that free mango low fat fruit smoothie that I was afraid to drink too often? Much to my surprise, it was only a couple hundred calories.
I bet you'll bump in to me at the Panera Prince Frederick MD location if you drop in a time or two. Look for a Green Jeep with a Golden Reriever holding down the FORT.

Cheryl, it sounds like if I was down your way, I would not make it inside as I would be just plain happy standing there, talking to your dog! I am such a dog lover! I have one... right now! I am hoping to rescue a second one in a couple of years. Do you go on appointment with your puppy on board?
Cheryl, if it's the same Panera we have here in CA, their food is so yummy. I wish there was one on my way home!!!!
We are fortunate to have 2 Panera Bread locations in Charlottesville * I L♥VE their half soup and sandwich/salad for lunch - less than 500 calories!
I get their whole wheat loaf and have them slide it...
Yes, Riley goes on appointments and guards the Jeep.
I saw some good calorie counts and some stuff I will hereon avoid.
The one in Prince Frederick MD is right in the middle of a route I take for a lot of business in Southern Maryland.
I love Panera's Greek Salad, but it has a whole lot more calories than I expected. I still eat it, with the baguette... just saying :-)
Every time I read your blog I think I see Pax (my dog) on your blogs. They do love the water.
The love cat food, too, as a TREAT. Go figure. See you in Panera!
